Val de San García, Guadalajara

En el término municipal de Cifuentes, este pueblo casi abandonado se asienta al fondo de un paisaje de vega, rodeado de un terreno fértil y en el que hay agua abundante. El pueblo, sin embargo, es un conjunto de casas ruinosas, en las que se adivinan remotos años de construcción a comienzos del siglo pasado. El edificio mejor preservado es la iglesia, precedida por un gracioso atrio en el que destacan las cuatro columnas de piedra. Está consagrada a la Virgen del Rosario, que protagoniza también las fiestas locales, cuando se reúnen los antiguos vecinos de este pueblo en el que apenas viven tres o cuatro familias.
