Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, Barcelona

Sobre un mar de viñedos navegan los restos más antiguos de este monasterio, hoy muy recuperado, que dejan entrever su rico pasado. Aunque hoy ejerce como iglesia del pueblo, sus inicios se remontan al s. XI y a lo largo del tiempo tuvo una considerable influencia en la zona. La alta torre conserva las ventanas geminadas y unos interesantes sarcófagos góticos en la sacristía. Destaca también la puerta, que está presidida por un Pantocrátor rodeado de ángeles y, sobre todo, el pequeño claustro con una bella colección de capiteles con representaciones de figuras de animales y uno de ellos con un ábaco visigótico. El cercano pueblo de Sant Pau d’Ordal merece una pequeña excursión para visitar su iglesia que conserva una antiquísima pila bautismal por inmersión.
