Esta hermosa población enclavada entre los ríos Tajo y Tajuña, está asociada a la princesa de Éboli y a su palacio Ducal, cuya fachada plateresca preside la plaza de la Hora. Otro edificio relevante es la colegiata de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, con elementos góticos y renacentistas, un valioso retablo y un excelente museo que incluye obras de El Greco, tapices medievales y un Cristo románico. El palacio Ducal, convertido en hospedería, se alza sobre una ladera y ofrece extraordinarias vistas de la zona.
