Parque natural de Hornachuelos, Córdoba

El carácter agreste de la sierra de Hornachuelos la convierte  en un destino perfecto para disfrutar los sonidos y los silencios de la naturaleza. La cadena de montañas, integrada en la Sierra Morena y cubierta de vegetación mediterránea, está regada por el Bembézar y sirve de refugio esporádico al lince, que comparte el territorio con ciervos, jabalíes y una importante colonia de buitre negro. En el parque natural se han trazado senderos con distintos grados de dificultad y también es muy recomendable la visita al monasterio de las Escalonias, un característico remanso cisterciense rodeado de campos de naranjos.
