Medina de Pomar, Burgos

Una amplia plaza Mayor porticada precede a su casco antiguo, protegido por murallas y donde destaca la casa-palacio de los Velasco, Tiene varias iglesias de interés, un viejo hospital y el convento de Santa Clara que cuenta con un rico museo, en el que hay una talla de Cristo de Gregorio Fernández que presidió la batalla de Lepanto. El arco de la judería da paso al barrio donde vivía una importante colonia sefardí que conserva todo el sabor de sus estrechas calles. El último fin de semana de septiembre, con la disculpa de conmemorar el viaje de Carlos V hasta Yuste, la ciudad retrocede al Renacimiento con trajes, pasacalles, mercados y artesanía de la época.
