Gorafe, Granada

Al norte del parque natural de la sierra de Baza, entre las poblaciones de Gor y Gorafe, se encuentra uno de los yacimiento del Neolítico más extensos de Europa. Es una colección de 198 dólmenes, repartidos en un accidentado paisaje de barrancos, gargantas y cárcavas cubierto de matorral. Algunos paneles orientativos te permitirán ubicar muchos de estos monumentos que prueban la remotísima población de la zona, en la que también verás las cuevas almohades de Los Algarves. A pocos kilómetros de Gorafe se encuentra el balneario de Alicún, cuyas propiedades medicinales ya aparecen citadas en textos del siglo XVII. Un siglo más tarde, sus aguas fueron declaradas de utilidad pública y desde entonces se ha ido reformando aunque mantiene elementos que evocan una vieja instalación termal. El entorno es un paisaje de relieves suaves, en las confluencias de los ríos Gor y Fardes, y convierten su enclave en un oasis de vegetación y piscinas naturales.
