Baños de la Encina, Jaén

La fortaleza de Baños de la Encina es una obra califal del siglo X, a la que más tarde se le añadió una torre gótica de buen porte. Su soberbia silueta aún parece proteger el pueblo y comparte con el castillo de Florencia el privilegio de haberse mantenido en pie durante más de mil años. Desde sus almenas tendrás unas bonitas panorámicas del embalse de Rumblar y de la villa, que produce un excelente aceite y en la que también te aconsejamos la visita al santuario de la Virgen de la Encina.
